The SDZ5186TSLF street sweeper is converted from a China National VI‑compliant heavy‑duty truck chassis, equipped with a German MAN‑technology engine for safety and reliability. It has been further upgraded with a high‑pressure cleaning and dust‑suppression system, a fresh‑water tank, a maintenance compartment, a waste container, a lifting mechanism, rear sweeping rollers, left and right side brushes, a hydraulic system, and a dedicated electrical control system. The chassis engine provides both propulsion and power to the superstructure. The high‑pressure water pump is a domestically produced plunger type, featuring a brass pump head, appropriate flow rate, and high pressure—up to 10 MPa. A large‑capacity fresh‑water tank is fitted with a low‑level alarm; when the liquid level drops below the set threshold, the system automatically triggers an alert to prevent dry‑run damage to the high‑pressure pump. The left and right side brushes each employ dual brush discs, increasing the sweeping width. Independent control of the left and right side brushes enables various operating modes, including left‑side sweeping, right‑side sweeping, and full‑width sweeping. Operators can easily adjust the vehicle’s speed to ensure optimal cleaning performance under different road conditions. High‑pressure nozzles are strategically mounted at the mid‑ and rear sections of the chassis, angled forward toward the vehicle’s direction of travel, delivering powerful surface cleaning and dust suppression.

The SDZ5 186TSLF street sweeper is designed for mechanized cleaning, sweeping, and dust‑suppression spraying on highways, urban roads, plazas, airports, docks, tunnels, and bridges. It is particularly well suited for cleaning road surfaces where large amounts of debris accumulate and where the particles are relatively large in size and weight.
