On October 31, the plaque‑presentation ceremony for the Jining Municipal Senior Scientists and Technologists Association’s Science and Innovation Base was solemnly held in the third‑floor conference room of the Group’s Road and Bridge Business Unit. Attending the event were Liu Xuping, Executive Vice President of the Municipal Senior Scientists and Technologists Association; Wang Jue, Vice President; Zhang Xian, Executive Director and Director of the Industrial and Information Technology Professional Committee; as well as representatives from more than ten enterprises, including Mingde Machinery, Huazhu Machinery, and Maisibuer Machinery. Zhang Yangxun, Chairman and General Manager of the Group, also participated in the ceremony.

At the plaque‑presentation ceremony, Chairman Zhang Yangxun outlined Dongyue Group’s corporate development, strategic planning, and business operations. He stated that the Municipal Senior Scientists Association is under the leadership of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People’s Government. “Think tanks” and “high-level advisory bodies” have played a vital role in supporting the city’s high-quality development. We hope that, through this symposium and exchange event marking the launch of the innovation base, we can further strengthen our collaboration, solicit more valuable insights, help enterprises enhance their growth quality and efficiency, and contribute to the city’s high‑quality economic and social development.

  Vice President Liu Xuping outlined the development of the Municipal Senior Scientists Association. In recent years, the Association has closely aligned itself with the major decisions and strategic plans of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, fully leveraging its strengths to excel in policy advisory services, scientific and technological innovation, science communication, and efforts to harness science and technology for the benefit of the public, thereby contributing to the city’s economic and social development.

 

 

Subsequently, the attending leaders engaged in a roundtable discussion. Participants unanimously expressed their intention to strengthen communication and collaboration with the Jining Municipal Senior Scientists Association, hoping that the Association will leverage its nationwide organizational strengths and its concentration of high-caliber experts and talent to proactively coordinate human resources across various professional fields, thereby assisting and supporting the company’s reform and innovation efforts and business expansion, and helping Jining’s private enterprises make even greater contributions to the city’s economic and social development.

The successful holding of the plaque‑awarding ceremony for the Jining Municipal Senior Scientists Association’s Science and Innovation Bases not only recognizes past achievements in scientific and technological innovation but also serves as a source of inspiration and motivation for future advancements. With the leadership and support of senior scientists’ associations at all levels, these innovation bases will continue to play a pioneering and exemplary role, making even greater contributions to Jining’s economic development.
